Linear equations can be written in y=mx+b format in which the constant (b) is where the line crosses the x-axis, which is also known as the y-intercept. This free practice test provides opportunities to practice finding the y-intercept when given data in various formats. When designing this resource, I used adaptive mode in which the correct answers can be found on the slide immediately following the slide with the question.
Directions
- Click on the first graphic to enlarge to full screen.
- Write your answers on a sheet of paper.
- Click on the slide or on the next thumbnail at the bottom of the screen to advance to the next slide.
- Check your answers.
- Repeat the practice test if you need to review.
