Math Practice: Convert Fractions to Decimals

This free math practice assessment features converting fractions to decimals using the following formula:

  1. Simplify the fraction first if the fraction is not in its simplest format.
  2. Convert the fraction to a fraction with 100 as its denominator.
  3. Record the numerator. (If this number is a single digit, add a zero between the decimal and the number. If the number is two digits and ends in a zero, place a decimal to the left and drop the trailing zero.)
